Implementation of SI-KEPPO Innovation to Increase Return Visits of Hypertension Patients at Public Health Center of Sobo, Banyuwangi

The key to managing hypertension is regular control visits to the community health center or other health facilities. These visits are critical in monitoring response to treatment, adjusting therapy if necessary, and providing education and support to the patient. Low compliance of hypertension patients with re-visits or regular control can hinder the success of hypertension management and increase the risk of complications. The SI-KEPPO (Automatic Reminder Message Group System) innovation aims to provide an effective solution in managing and arranging re-visits or reminding individuals or groups of contact time automatically via text messages or other messages. This activity is a community service aimed at doctors, nurses, administration staff and counter staff. A direct training is carried out on computers owned by the Community Health Center so that deficiencies and advantages are detected in the existing facilities at the Community Health Center. The material presented is an introduction to the program or innovation by explaining the use of the innovation, the preparations made and the procedures for implementing it. There were 1 doctor, 4 nurses, 1 medical center administration staff, 1 operator staff, and 1 counter staff who participate in community service activities. All participants were very enthusiastic about this training and it could increase the number of repeat visits for hypertensive patients.

PARAMETRIC MODELING AS AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH IN GRAPHIC DESIGN

Purpose. The article focuses on exploring the possibilities and strategies of innovative integration of parametricism into the field of graphic design and analyzing the main problems and potential solutions in using parametric design in creating graphic objects. Methodology. According to the research topic, the methods employed include comparative study, theoretical analysis, and synthesis. Results. The article discusses the definitions and characteristics of parametric design, examines its applications for optimizing design thinking and creating personalized objects. Various levels of innovative implementations are presented, offering several strategies for integrating parametric modeling into graphic design, including visual element generation, layout optimization, design interactivity enhancement, and data visualization in personalized design. Additionally, integration challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence technologies are discussed. Scientific novelty. The article analyzes various levels and effective strategies for applying parametric modeling in the field of graphic design, exploring current aspects of interaction that are innovative and emphasizing the importance of utilizing parametric design methodology, artificial intelligence, and computational design in the paradigm of contemporary graphic design. Practical significance. The materials presented in the article can be utilized for investigating the innovative application of digital design, parametric design, and artificial intelligence in the field of graphic design.

Technological innovations and optimized work methods in subsea maintenance and production

Subsea maintenance and production represent critical aspects of offshore operations, vital for sustaining energy production and ensuring operational efficiency. However, these endeavors face numerous challenges, including the complexities of deepwater environments, harsh weather conditions, and the high costs associated with traditional maintenance methods. To address these challenges, this paper explores the integration of technological innovations and optimized work methods in subsea operations. Technological innovations play a pivotal role in revolutionizing subsea maintenance and production. Remote monitoring and control systems enable real-time data collection and decision-making, enhancing operational visibility and efficiency. Autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) offer the capability to conduct inspections and repairs in remote and hazardous environments, reducing human intervention and associated risks. Robotics and automation further streamline maintenance tasks, improving accuracy and reducing downtime. Advanced materials and coatings enhance equipment durability and corrosion resistance, prolonging asset lifecycles and reducing maintenance requirements. In parallel, optimized work methods offer strategic approaches to enhance subsea operations' effectiveness. Successful Implementation of Disruptive Innovation by New Entrants: Modeling the Challenges Using Interpretive Structural Modelling

Successful implementation of disruptive innovation involves numerous challenges, especially for new entrants. This study tries to identify and analyze a set of critical challenges that might plague a new entrant to successfully implement disruptive innovation. Multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) technique of Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) was used to analyze the identified challenges, as well as to derive their interrelationship. The study was conducted in the context of the Indian manufacturing sector. The findings revealed that the lack of financial resources, lack of non-financial resources, and lack of top management support emerged as the three key challenges impeding disruptive innovation for manufacturing organizations in India. The motivation–opportunity–ability (MOA) model served as the basic theoretical underpinning for the study. The findings of the study are expected to help managers and policymakers to understand possible challenges associated with the implementation of disruptive innovation, and to develop counter strategies accordingly.

Project ECHO®: a global cross-sectional examination of implementation success

BackgroundOrganizations implement innovations to disrupt the status quo and create value. Within sectors such as healthcare, innovations need to navigate large scale system and organizational factors to succeed. This research explores the implementation of a global innovation– Project ECHO®. Project ECHO® is a validated virtual communities of practice model organizational teams implement to build workforce capacity and capability. Project ECHO® has experienced broad global adoption, particularly within the healthcare sector, and is experiencing growth across other sectors. This study sought to examine the state of implementation success for Project ECHO® globally, to understand how these implementations compare across geographic and sectoral contexts, and understand what enablers/barriers exist for organizational teams implementing the innovation.MethodsAn empirical study was conducted to collect data on 54 Project ECHO® implementation success indicators across an international sample. An online survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to all Project ECHO® hub organizations globally to collect data. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics.ResultsThe 54 implementation success indicators measured in this survey revealed that the adoption of Project ECHO® across 13 organizations varied on a case-by-case basis, with a strong rate of adoption within the healthcare sector. Implementation teams from these organizations successfully implemented Project ECHO® within 12–18 months after completing Immersion partner launch training and operated 51 ECHO® Networks at the time of data collection. Implementation teams which liaised more regularly with ECHO® Superhub mentors often went on to launch a higher number of ECHO® Networks that were sustained over the longer term. This suggests that these implementation teams better aligned and consolidated their Project ECHO® pilots as new innovations within the local context and strategic organizational priorities. Access to research and evaluation capability, and a more automated digital client relationship management system were key limitations to showcasing implementation success outcomes experienced by the majority of implementation teams.ConclusionsThese findings make a valuable contribution to address a knowledge gap regarding how a global sample of organizations adopting Project ECHO® measured and reported their implementation successes. Key successes included pre-launch experimentation and expansion, Superhub mentorship, stakeholder engagement, and alignment to strategic priorities.

THE INFLUENCE OF CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE LOYALTY PROGRAMS’ FEATURES ON CUSTOMERS’ ATTITUDINAL, CONATIVE, AND BEHAVIOURAL LOYALTY

Companies allocate significant resources in loyalty programs with the primary goal of enhancing customer loyalty. However, the effectiveness of these programs is now a subject of academic debate. Scholars highlight concerns such as the creation of spurious loyalty, the need for perceived value, and evolving consumer expectations. To succeed in this changing landscape, companies must embrace creativity and innovation in their loyalty program design. As creativity and innovations in loyalty programs are new and little-studied phenomenon, a comprehensive assessment of potential creative and innovative features in loyalty programs is essential for a deeper understanding of their influence on customer loyalty. The aim of this study was to measure the influence of creative and innovative loyalty programs’ features on customers’ attitudinal, conative, and behavioural loyalty. 203 respondents took part in the research. Ordered logistic regression analysis was used to reach the aim of the study. The research findings indicate that engagement-, gamification-, personalization-, and experience-based loyalty programs have an influence on customer loyalty. All four types of features of creative and innovative loyalty programs influence attitudinal and behaviour loyalty, and three types of features of loyalty programs, i.e., engagement-, gamification-, and experience-based, influence conative loyalty. The study findings underscore the importance of designing new features of loyalty programs that align with specific loyalty dimensions, as they can have differential effects on attitudinal, conative, and behavioural aspects of customer loyalty. Such insights are valuable for companies seeking to enhance customer loyalty through creative and innovative loyalty program design and implementation.

Learning from the best: how regional knowledge stimulates circular economy transition at company level

Abstract This paper investigates whether, and what kind of, regional knowledge has a stimulating effect on circular economy (CE) innovation by companies. We thus add to the literature on regional knowledge spillovers, which has rarely focussed explicitly on the CE. For the empirical study, we create econometric regressions based on a representative dataset with extensive information on the CE activities of about 1400 Swiss firms. The results confirm that regional knowledge is important for the implementation of CE innovations. However, geographical distance and the quality of the knowledge must be taken into account, that is, companies primarily learn from the best.

Research on the Sentiments of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Universities—Based on Field Research in Fujian Province Universities

“Mass entrepreneurship and innovation” is a national strategy of China, aimed at stimulating the innovative potential and entrepreneurial vitality of the entire society to promote economic transformation and upgrading. The introduction of this strategy not only helps to drive economic growth and improve employment rates but also aids in cultivating innovative talents and enhancing national competitiveness. In response, Fujian Province has implemented a series of policy measures to support and encourage university students to actively engage in innovation and entrepreneurship activities. This study focuses on students from five types of institutions within Fujian Province, exploring their awareness of their universities' emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship, and the number of related courses they have attended. It assesses the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education across different universities in Fujian, identifies existing disparities among various types of institutions, and proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions to further develop the models of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities within the province.

Strategy Analysis for Implementing Rice Transplanter Planting Machine Technology in Rice Farming Using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) Method in South Sulawesi

Indonesia has several rice producing centers, one of which is Sidrap Regency which is located in South Sulawesi with the support of a rice transplanter technology system. This research aims to analyze the factors inhibiting the implementation of rice transplanter rice planting machine innovation and strategies for implementing the use of this planting machine. This research uses descriptive analysis by creating frequency tables and percentages from primary data results obtained through interviews with respondents. Likert scale to measure farmers' responses to the dissemination of the Rice Transplanter rice planting machine innovation in Sidrap Regency and the ISM method was used to develop a strategy for implementing the dissemination of agricultural innovation to support agricultural development in Sidrap Regency. The research results show that the factors inhibiting the implementation of Rice Transplanter machine innovation are farmers' lack of skills in using rice transplanter, limited rice transplanter, facilities in farmer groups, lack of rice transplanter service providers and lack of farmer staff, motivation to use rice planting tools. The strategy for implementing rice transplanter innovation is through training in implementing rice transplanter innovation, increasing farmers' interest in using rice transplanters, providing rice transplanter facilities and strengthening institutions.

Tantangan Penerapan Inovasi Budaya Organisasi dalam Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Nagari/Desa dalam Rangka Mewujudkan Pemerintahan Desa yang Baik

Nagari/village funds are an important instrument that can be used to improve community welfare, reduce regional disparities, and strengthen local economic empowerment. However, in practice, the implementation of organizational culture innovation in nagari/village government structures is often faced with a number of complex challenges. Nagari/village leaders and officials who have skills in organizational culture innovation can help in developing a better nagari/village fund management system, such as using information technology in reporting and monitoring the use of funds, or applying the principles of good governance in decision making. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to explore the challenges associated with implementing organizational culture innovation in managing nagari/village funds in order to achieve the goals of good nagari/village governance. A qualitative approach provides an appropriate framework for understanding in depth the cultural context of organizations at the nagari/village level and the dynamics involved in dealing with change. The research results show that the role of nagari/village leaders and officials is very crucial in encouraging the adoption and implementation of organizational culture innovations in managing nagari/village funds. Resistance to change is still a significant challenge faced by many nagari/villages in implementing organizational culture innovation. Factors such as discomfort with the status quo and lack of understanding of the benefits of innovation can hinder efforts to improve the effectiveness of nagari/village fund management.

The Service Experience Innovation Model of Cultural Tourism in Historic Districts: A Case Study on Zhongshan Road in Quanzhou, Fujian Province of China

This study aimed to elucidate how consumers engage in cultural activities in Quanzhou and analyze innovative service experiences in this ancient city. We also sought to create a model integrating humanistic innovations into the enhancement of service experiences. We used an exploratory case study approach, combining secondary data analysis with on-site observations. The findings include the following: (1) The tourist experience in cultural tourism involves six stages: “Connect and Attract”, “Orientate”, “Interact”, “Extend and Retain”, “Advocate”, and “Recollect”. (2) We developed the TESP model for innovative cultural tourism services in Quanzhou, with four dimensions: Technological, Experiential, Systemic, and Platform. The Platform dimension introduces the Hub and Service Process sub-dimensions. Additionally, the study suggests that creating a sense of place in historic districts relies on traditional culture, emphasizing the core competitiveness, identity, and culture of a locality. (3) Integrating “humanistic innovation” into cultural tourism is essential, utilizing digital platforms and interpersonal networks to promote core values and thus foster local economic prosperity. The research outcomes hold practical significance for cultural heritage tourism in Quanzhou, as well as for the study and implementation of service and experience innovations among experience providers, practitioners, managers, and marketing professionals in the field.

Green energy innovation initiatives for environmental sustainability: current state and future research directions.

Worldwide, all countries have been facing the crisis of climate change problem. They have been addressing this issue by focusing on implementing green energy innovation initiatives and promoting a sustainable future through environmental sustainability. In this research study, we focus on examining the role of green finance through green energy innovations, which are taking place in several sectors across different regions to promote environmental sustainability. The study has analysed 152 articles on this research domain through a systematic literature review to understand the present state of existing knowledge. The current study examines the Scopus-indexed research articles from the time period 2002 to 2023. Six emerging themes have been examined to understand their development and the potential impact of green initiatives for environmental sustainability. Various institutional theories have been explored to understand their association with the investigated research area. The paper has discussed multiple challenges that need to be addressed for the speedy implementation of green innovations. Finally, future research questions have been proposed based on the findings from the extant literature and the existing research gaps.

The Conceptualization and Measurement of Research Impact in Primary Health Care: Protocol for a Rapid Scoping Review.

The generation of research evidence and knowledge in primary health care (PHC) is crucial for informing the development and implementation of interventions and innovations and driving health policy, health service improvements, and potential societal changes. PHC research has broad effects on patients, practices, services, population health, community, and policy formulation. The in-depth exploration of the definition and measures of research impact within PHC is essential for broadening our understanding of research impact in the discipline and how it compares to other health services research. The objectives of the study are (1) to understand the conceptualizations and measures of research impact within the realm of PHC and (2) to identify methodological frameworks for evaluation and research impact and the benefits and challenges of using these approaches. The forthcoming review seeks to guide future research endeavors and enhance methodologies used in assessing research impact within PHC. The protocol outlines the rapid review and environmental scan approach that will be used to explore research impact in PHC and will be guided by established frameworks such as the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Impact Framework and the Canadian Health Services and Policy Research Alliance. The rapid review follows scoping review guidelines (PRISMA-ScR; Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Extension for Scoping Reviews). The environmental scan will be done by consulting with professional organizations, academic institutions, information science, and PHC experts. The search strategy will involve multiple databases, citation and forward citation searching, and manual searches of gray literature databases, think tank websites, and relevant catalogs. We will include gray and scientific literature focusing explicitly on research impact in PHC from high-income countries using the World Bank classification. Publications published in English from 1978 will be considered. The collected papers will undergo a 2-stage independent review process based on predetermined inclusion criteria. The research team will extract data from selected studies based on the research questions and the CRISP (Consensus Reporting Items for Studies in Primary Care) protocol statement. The team will discuss the extracted data, enabling the identification and categorization of key themes regarding research impact conceptualization and measurement in PHC. The narrative synthesis will evolve iteratively based on the identified literature. The results of this study are expected at the end of 2024. The forthcoming review will explore the conceptualization and measurement of research impact in PHC. The synthesis will offer crucial insights that will guide subsequent research, emphasizing the need for a standardized approach that incorporates diverse perspectives to comprehensively gauge the true impact of PHC research. Furthermore, trends and gaps in current methodologies will set the stage for future studies aimed at enhancing our understanding and measurement of research impact in PHC. PRR1-10.2196/55860.

Implementation of Village Administration Service Innovation in Barru District, Indonesia

This research evaluates the Digital Village Application (Digides) within Barru Regency's village administration, aiming to align with public service principles to improve service delivery and achieve administrative efficiency. It explores Digides’ operational benefits and identifies challenges like insufficient transparency, limited community engagement, and rights and obligations imbalances. The study underscores the necessity of innovation in governance to meet community needs and enhance social justice. Key recommendations include Digides’ integration with other governmental platforms, IT infrastructure enhancement, digital literacy promotion, and increased transparency and community involvement. These steps are intended to maximize Digides’ utility, promoting equitable and effective public services. This contribution enriches the digital governance discourse, providing insights and recommendations to advance village administration through technological innovation.

Searching for Dairy Farm Resilience with the R4D Project: Innovation Needs to Be Sustainable

Farms face new challenges due to both climate change and the influence of economic, social, and institutional factors. The study examines the key aspects of the resilience of dairy farms that, if in place, can ensure their sustainable functioning. The purpose of the article is to diagnose and classify the main needs for strengthening the resilience of dairy farms. In implementing the research, an interdisciplinary approach developed within the framework of the Resilience for Dairy (R4D) project was used. The results of the research reveal differences in the classification of key needs to strengthen resilience by stakeholder groups. Farmers reported a need for solutions that increase their income and production flexibility. The other groups of respondents focused on reducing antibiotic use and improving resource efficiency and environmental protection. The analysis of key needs classifications among respondent groups, segmented by age, and the comparison of needs between respondents from Western European and Central and Eastern European countries showed minor differences, indicating a similarity in the perceived importance of needs. The study also identified needs perceived by respondents as essential to increasing dairy farm resilience. These primarily include the following: the work–life balance of farmers, effective communication with the community, and implementation of technical innovations related to dairy farming.

Student`s innovative professional competence in the context of the implementation of an individual educational trajectory

The problem of student`s innovative professional formation in the context of the implementation of an individual educational trajectory in a higher educational organization is considered in the paper. The relevance of the study is determined by the transformation of the conditions of functioning of higher education in the knowledge society; an increase in need of employers for graduates with a set of necessary beliefs, knowledge, skills and abilities for the development and implementation of innovations, taking into account existing features and changing trends of the professional environment. The main research methods are the analysis and synthesis of scientific data, research results in the fields of transformation of higher educational institutions and individualization of the learning process; generalization and systematization of scientific facts and statements. As a result of the research, the authors have revealed the concept of student`s innovative professional competence and proposed the structure in the context of the implementation of an individual educational trajectory, integrating value-motivational, instrumental-technological, research, creative-reflective, interactive-communication and academic-entrepreneurial components. The indicators highlighted by the authors in the competence structure will allow assessing the formation of each of the components for their further development.

SAFETY AND INNOVATION. CONTRADICTIONS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIONS

Problem statement. Innovative development of the economy is rightfully considered one of the most important strategic tasks for Ukraine on the path to ensuring national security and the safety of citizens' livelihoods. The current state of affairs in the implementation of innovations indicates that without creating special conditions for innovative activities in the country, we risk transforming from an industrial nation into a raw material and food base for developed countries around the world. This article explores the components of the effect achieved through the application of repair and restoration technologies, which enable the restoration of essential operational characteristics of machinery and equipment without disrupting the technological and production processes. |The purpose of the article. It analyzes the specific reasons behind the low receptiveness to innovations in our country, using the example of implementing such technologies. The article proposes solutions to address the challenges of innovation adoption based on the utilization of hardware control of machinery and equipment's performance, updating the regulatory framework, optimizing the management and remuneration system in enterprises. Conclusion. For the first time, a terminological apparatus of energy-resource service for objects of the technosphere is proposed. The conceptual principles of investment and innovation legislation are proposed for the first time. The essence of domestic innovative 'Technology of Disassembly Engineering of Friction Surfaces' is disclosed. The main contradictions in the implementation of innovative technologies in Ukraine are revealed. Ways to solve problems in the implementation of innovations based on the use of hardware control of the performance of machines and mechanisms, updating the regulatory framework, optimizing the management and payment systems for labor at enterprises are proposed. The suggested solutions can be valuable for strengthening the foundation of national industrial safety and economic independence in Ukraine, as well as for stimulating labor efficiency in the real sector of the economy.

THE ROLE OF COMMUNICATION AND CREATIVITY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABILITY AND SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS

Sustainable development becomes a strategic goal of modern business organizations and an aspiration to ensure long-term economic growth through the creation of innovative products and services, saving resources and their sustainable use, nurturing the environment, and contributing to the creation of public welfare. It should be noted that communication and creativity constitutes a significant part of the innovation generation and implementation process. Promotion of idea generation, the interpretation of the need for innovation, the provision of opportunities for expressing new ideas, the development of relationships both within the team itself and with stakeholders are important in each phase of communication. The article presents the research, the purpose of which is to determine how creative communication solutions condition the involvement of the organization’s stakeholders, developing sustainability and creating sustainable innovations in Lithuanian business organizations. The applied research method is qualitative content analysis of the web pages of the largest Lithuanian business organizations, seeking to collect data on the essential organization of sustainable innovation development activities, challenges and features of stakeholder involvement. The data required for the research was collected by reviewing the publicly available information of 100 websites of Lithuanian business organizations in order to determine the essential communicated sustainability topics. Documents related to sustainable activities of organizations were also investigated (sustainability performance reports, corporate social responsibility reports, etc.). The results of the study show that Lithuanian business organizations consider the development of a sustainable activity strategy an important priority in the near term. However, although they understand the need for sustainable activities, developing sustainable innovations by involving stakeholders in these activities is difficult due to the lack of such practices and various organizational factors.

A mechanism for ensuring economic security management in the context of dynamic and structural changes in the development of the national economy of Ukraine

The study determines that Ukraine's national interests are in the sustainable development of the national economy, integration into the European economic area, the development of equal and mutually beneficial economic cooperation with other states. It is highlighted that an important place in the security sector is occupied by challenges related to russia's armed aggression. The content of such a category as "economic security" is analysed and existing approaches to its definition are considered. It is proposed that the essence of economic security can be presented as a state of security of self-sufficient development of the country, which guarantees sustainable growth of economic indicators, effective satisfaction of the needs of the population, protection of the interests of the state at the national and international levels through the successful implementation of financial, industrial, foreign economic, investment, innovation and macroeconomic security tasks. A systematic fragmentary analysis of the main indicators characterising the economic security of Ukraine is carried out. It is noted that the indicators of all the main components of economic security remain low, with high risks of large-scale destabilisation in the development of the economy in the long term. The author suggests factors for improving the level of economic security of Ukraine in the context of russia's military aggression and the reconstruction of Ukraine in the post-war period.
